Company Description
A platform built to enable every company in the world to build better, more human customer experiences with AI. It partners with industry leaders across telecommunications and media, commerce, financial services, and healthcare. Primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia — and now opening in Korea.
Its co-founder currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Previously he was co-CEO of Salesforce and CTO of Facebook.
The company raised close to $1B in its most recent round, at a valuation above $15B.
Founders & Founding Teams Welcome
If you started a company after 2024 and are deciding what comes next, this team wants to talk — including as a team. They have hired a whole founding team in another APAC market before and are open to doing it again in Korea. Co-founders can be introduced together and evaluated together.
What You'll Do
-
Design and deliver production-grade AI agents: Build and ship highly performant, reliable, and intuitive AI agents that are mission-critical and drive revenue directly. Not prototypes — scalable systems running in production across finance, healthcare, telecom, and commerce.
-
Own the Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC): Complete ownership from pilot through deployment and continuous iteration, defining ADLC best practices for the Korea team.
-
Partner with Korea's largest enterprises: Work directly with leaders at major Korean enterprises to understand their most pressing problems and build agents that change how they operate at scale.
-
Shape the platform: Your customer work guides the evolution of the core platform — surface unmet needs, prototype new tools, and collaborate with research, product, and platform teams.
Who You Are
-
8–10+ years of hands-on engineering; you still ship code every week
-
You come from a smaller, zero-to-one environment — an early-stage startup, your own company, or a small AI team — rather than a big-tech role where you were far from the product
-
Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems, ideally with LLM or agent systems in production
-
High agency: a builder and tinkerer who finds creative ways to overcome obstacles and ship
-
Comfortable working directly with customers
-
Fluent Korean for daily work; working English for management communication (lower-end English is fine if you can communicate with your manager)
Interview Process
-
Recruiter screen
-
Coding interview
-
Virtual on-site: debugging + agent building (a take-home brief about a week before — you build an agent to a spec using LLMs, then demo and extend it live). Mostly in Korean.
-
Conversation with the Head of Engineering for APAC (English)
A fixed, dedicated set of interviewers runs the Korea loop so candidates are calibrated consistently.
