Chief of Staff to the GM, Thailand
Work directly with the GM in Thailand as their commercial and operational right hand, from pipeline and revenue operations to partnerships and strategic initiatives.
The opportunity
The hiring client is a fast-growing enterprise AI platform company with local go-to-market and deployment teams in more than 35 markets. Its teams work alongside large customers to turn AI-agent use cases into production workflows, connecting data, systems and business operations.
This is not a traditional Chief of Staff or internal operations role. You will work directly with the General Manager for Thailand as their commercial and operational right hand: keeping a finger on the pulse of go-to-market, pipeline, partnerships and strategic initiatives, spotting where intervention is needed, and making sure priorities turn into results.
What you will do
- Drive commercial execution with the go-to-market team: pipeline, key opportunities, close plans and risks, so that actions are followed through and deals keep moving.
- Give the GM a clear, distilled view of performance, priorities and blockers, and flag where they need to step in.
- Take loosely defined business problems, from penetrating top enterprise accounts to launching a new commercial initiative, and drive them from strategy to execution.
- Strengthen revenue operations: CRM data, dashboards, pipeline and forecasting, for better visibility and decisions.
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships that accelerate growth in Thailand.
- Connect the commercial and deployment teams, so commercial priorities get the resources and support they need.
- Chase actions, remove blockers and coordinate stakeholders, owning important problems without waiting to be told.
What you will bring
- At least five years across enterprise sales, commercial strategy, consulting, revenue operations, partnerships, business operations, or a commercially focused Chief of Staff role.
- Real commercial experience: you understand enterprise sales, pipeline and what it takes to move a deal forward, even if you are not a hunter yourself.
- Strong analytical skills and commercial judgement, with comfort in CRM data, forecasting, dashboards and performance metrics.
- A track record of taking projects from an ambiguous starting point through to execution.
- Strong stakeholder management, and the confidence to challenge, influence and hold people accountable.
- Excellent communication. Fluent Thai is strongly preferred, alongside fluent English.
- An independent, pragmatic and entrepreneurial approach, and the ability to stay a step ahead when priorities shift quickly.
Why consider it
You will sit next to the GM of one of the client's priority markets, with a product already deployed at large enterprises worldwide and a global product and deployment organization behind it. The role is based in Bangkok.
