Deployment Strategist

Company Description
Harper works with Silicon Valley backed AI companies that are hiring in Korea right now, and the list keeps growing. One of them reached a $5B valuation in under two years. Others are opening their first Korea teams and hiring the people who will decide how they operate here. Several are not public about hiring at all, which is exactly why they come to Harper.
This posting is not for one of them in particular. Talk to Harper once, and it tells you which of these companies you are most likely to match with, ranked in that order, with the salary band for each, before you commit to talking to anyone.
Every role behind this posting is live and confirmed with the company that is hiring. Harper never posts a fake or placeholder job.
What You'll Do
If you have been a consultant, a technical PM, or a founder, and wondered what the AI native version of that job looks like, this is it. You own whether an enterprise AI deployment actually succeeds. Not the relationship around it, the outcome itself.
- Run discovery with enterprise customers: map how they work, where the cost sits, and what would count as success.
- Turn that into a scoped plan with requirements, an integration approach, and metrics the customer will be held to.
- Own delivery end to end, from the first pilot through production launch, working alongside the engineers who build it.
- Align timelines, deliverables, and expectations across the customer, product, and engineering.
- Monitor how the agents perform in production and drive the next round of improvements.
- Find the next use case with the customer and expand from one workflow into the business.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years in a role that combined structuring a problem with delivering the result. Consulting, product management, solutions work, and founding a company are all common paths in.
- Enough technical fluency to scope an AI deployment: what an API can and cannot do, how data moves between systems, and where a project is likely to break. You will not be writing the production code.
- A record of structuring ambiguous problems and driving them to a decision, without waiting for perfect requirements.
- Ownership of enterprise relationships and delivery end to end. This is not a customer success role. You own the build and the result, not the relationship alone.
- Strong communication, project management, and organization.
- Business level Korean and English. You will work with global teams directly, with no layer in between.
Years of experience is not a cutoff in this posting. These companies are hiring at different levels at the same time. Talk to Harper and it tells you which of them fits your years and your track record, and at what level, before you talk to anyone.
Nice to Have
- A strategy or management consulting background, the kind that does real problem discovery and senior stakeholder work. It is the most common path into this role today.
- Founder or product management experience.
- An engineering background, or prior hands-on technical work.
- Hands-on exposure to AI agents, LLM evaluation, or automation running in production.
- Time at a high growth or early stage company.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
Why This Role Is Remarkable
- You are accountable for the outcome, not the deck. Success is a working deployment measured on the customer's own numbers.
- Consulting skills, but you ship. Discovery, structuring, stakeholder management, applied to something that goes live and keeps running.
- This is not an unproven jump. A large share of the people already doing this job came out of strategy consulting, and it is the background these teams look for first.
- These teams are early in Korea. The first deployments you lead become the playbook for the market.
- The role barely existed three years ago. Very few people in Korea have done it, and demand is running well ahead of supply.
Who Is Harper
Harper is an AI career agent that works for you.
You talk to Harper once, about where you are, what you actually want next, the salary you would move for, the offers you have turned down. None of that fits on a resume, and it is what turns a match into a real one instead of a keyword hit.
Harper then works on your side. It knows which companies are hiring beyond what is posted publicly, and it introduces you only to the ones worth your time. You stay in stealth throughout: no company sees your profile until you say so.
Harper does not post pipeline bait.
How Does This Work
- Talk to Harper. A few minutes, by chat or voice. No application form.
- Harper ranks your matches. Which companies fit you and in what order, with the salary band for each, before you commit to anything.
- You decide, then Harper introduces you. Straight to the decision maker, not into an application queue.
- Harper stays with you. Through this process, and it keeps bringing you roles worth your time afterward.
